Best Books of the Year: 2024

What would the end of the year be without another ‘Best Of’ list? Here’s mine — Best Books of 2024! Of the 65+ books I read this year, here are the 5 that stood out. Highly recommend all of them!

Migrations by Charlotte McConaghy

(Published 2021) Humans are destroying the planet and Franny Stone is determined to follow the last Arctic terns on their final migration to Antarctica, no matter what it will cost her. A lyrical, magic, haunting song of a story. As beautiful as it is sad, you will be lost at sea with Franny and her shipmates, hoping to see wings on the horizon.

All the Colors of the Dark by Chris Whitaker
